Jane Pyecha, MSW, LSW

 
 

Jane believes social connections begin before birth and values the profound effect attachment has in shaping our lives. As a former early childhood educator, she has coached parents and teachers in establishing and maintaining trusting relationships for more than three decades.

In 2000, Jane left the US to travel and work internationally, finally settling in Ethiopia. Jane’s personal journey as an adoptive parent led her back to the US in 2019 to pursue a new career in social work and family and child therapy, focusing on attachments, trauma and healing past wounds.

Jane holds a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina and a Masters in Education and Specialist in Education degrees from Georgia State University and a Masters in Social Work from Indiana University. Her hobbies include travel, anything with water, art/doodling and reality TV.
