Shannon Branic, MSW, LCSW
Shannon Branic is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the areas of trauma, attachment, and foster care/adoption. Shannon has extensive training in these areas including Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), Theraplay®, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She uses a family approach, focused on helping each member of the family heal. She believes strongly in the resiliency of individuals and families, and strives to empower and support parents and their children.
Shannon previously worked as an adoption therapist and Director of the Adoption Services program at Children’s Bureau, Inc. A foster parent herself, Shannon has facilitated trainings on attachment and trauma for foster and adoptive families and professionals around the state of Indiana.
Shannon has an undergraduate degree in Social Work from New York University and a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University. She is a dancer and dance educator, and incorporates yoga, mindfulness, and movement into her therapeutic work. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children, reading, camping, and exercise.
